NAMI’s education and support programs provide relevant information, valuable insight, and the opportunity to engage in support networks. These programs draw on the lived experience of mental health consumers who have learned to live well with their illnesses and family members. All have been extensively trained to help others, as well as having the expertise of mental health professionals and educators.
Whether you have lived experience, or are a family member, a faith leader, a member of a local organization, or a local citizen, there is a NAMI education or support program to help you learn more about mental illnesses, develop coping strategies, or find the support you need.
